We at sasstie are a German company based in Düsseldorf. All our products are packed & shipped directly in Düsseldorf (Germany) with great attention to detail. 📍🇩🇪
Taking responsibility for ourselves and our environment is very important to us at sasstie!
Our products are made from cellulose acetate, which is based on natural and renewable raw materials. The main components are, for example, wood fibers or the pulp of various types of fruit and vegetables.
For the sake of our environment, we also completely eliminate the use of plastic in the delivery of our products. The shipping materials we use are made from 100% recyclable cardboard and paper. Our filling material? Consists of puffed corn – 100% biodegradable, compostable and theoretically even edible (but tastes rather like nothing 😉).
This ensures that your order arrives safely – and protects the environment at the same time.
Our product range consists of cellulose acetate. Unlike plastic, synthetic resin or plastic, this material is based on natural and renewable raw materials such as the pulp of numerous fruits and vegetables. Reaction with conventional acetic acid produces our raw material. The relatively new raw material made from renewable and natural materials is the main component of our hair clips and combs and is plant-based and free from animal by-products. Compared to plastics or synthetic resins based on crude oil, cellulose acetate is a more environmentally friendly alternative.
This material is also one of the high-end raw materials for high-quality accessories in the contemporary fashion world, as cellulose acetate is extremely durable due to its high quality and robustness.

Our production plant is SEDEX member, i.e. SMETA certified (certified according to predefined standards of social responsibility as well as ethical behavior). Fair working conditions as well as adequate wages are extremely important to us, so we always pay special attention to ensuring that our standards are constantly met.
